Cymbeline

One of Shakespeare`s late romances - along with Pericles, The Tempest and The Winter`s Tale - Cymbeline tells three connected storie s: the resistance of a British king to Roman rule the story of two lovers Imogen and Posthumous driven apart by the lies of the vil lainous Jachimo and the tale of two young princes kidnapped from the royal household and raised in the wild. Weaving together theme s from Shakespeare`s greatest comedies and tragedies, this is a play in which disguise and misunderstanding eventually give way to r evelation and reconciliation.
